This Conflicts Analyst position is critical for supporting a leading global law firm’s Conflicts Department, ensuring the evaluation of potential business opportunities aligns with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. The role plays a proactive part in upholding compliance and integrity.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Intake Management: Review and process new business intake requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
• Conflict Analysis: Conduct thorough conflict checks and corporate research, then prepare comprehensive clearance summaries for review.
• Data Examination: Analyze client, matter, and organizational data to proactively identify potential conflicts of interest.
• Issue Resolution: Collaborate with legal, compliance, and administrative teams to resolve identified issues and obtain necessary approvals.
• System Maintenance: Maintain and update internal systems, including conflict databases and document repositories, to ensure data integrity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, with core domain knowledge in conflicts, risk, compliance, or legal research within a law firm environment.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in conflicts, risk, compliance, or legal research at a law firm; familiarity with research databases and conflicts management systems (e.g., Intapp or similar tools).
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, excellent communication, and organizational proficiency.
• Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion, coupled with a flexible mindset to adapt to changing priorities.
