What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Review & Data Processing: Review loan and collateral documents, including complex and highly sensitive ones, ensuring compliance with custodial agreements, and accurately process associated data.
• External & Internal Communication: Work with internal and external parties to provide reporting, communicate deficiencies, and clear exceptions related to document custody.
• Certification & Affidavit Execution: Demonstrate seasoned expertise in executing affidavits and certification documents, maintaining high standards for compliance and accuracy.
• Issue Resolution & Client Satisfaction: Research and resolve various issues to ensure client satisfaction, uphold quality control, and maintain compliance with all custodial agreements.
• Reporting & Goal Achievement: Interact with management to provide accurate reporting and certification of document files, facilitating the achievement of departmental goals and diligent client communication.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires an Associate’s degree or three or more years of related professional experience. Candidates should possess a seasoned level of expertise in handling certifications, preferably gained through corporate trust, mortgage, or paralegal experience.
• Experience: Three or more years of experience in a related field is expected, demonstrating the capacity to review complex and highly sensitive collateral documents and handle certifications.
• Skills: Essential skills include acute attention to detail, well-developed reading, writing, and mathematical skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong administrative capabilities. The role also demands the ability to identify and resolve exceptions, interpret data, and possess well-developed customer service skills, including proficient written and verbal communication. Candidates must have the capacity to complete repetitive tasks daily, meet production goals and deadlines, and exhibit strong time management, especially in organizing alphanumeric data.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications is required, and experience with emBTRUST software is considered a significant plus.
