Analyst – Sector Investment Banking and M&A Advisory | BNP Paribas
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at BNP Paribas, located in New York, NY. What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Support: Support the execution and origination of various investment banking transactions.
• Deal Coordination: Coordinate across all parties involved in M&A, ECM, and Leveraged Finance transactions.
• Pitch Development: Prepare presentations and contribute to deal pitches by conducting research and analysis of companies and industries.
• Financial Modeling: Develop complex financial models, including valuation and merger consequences analysis.
• Market Analysis: Provide industry intelligence and competitive analysis to identify and scope potential deal opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with a demonstrated record of academic excellence, focusing on analytical and quantitative skills for an investment banking advisory role.
• Experience: A core understanding of accounting and valuation principles is required.
• Skills: Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), strong verbal and written communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach focused on quality deliverables.
• Bonus: Prior investment banking experience with specific exposure to M&A, ECM, and Leveraged Finance, or core valuation and financial modeling experience in a professional setting. Required FINRA Series 63, 79, and SIE registrations.
