Finance Associate | Bloomberg Industry Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Bloomberg Industry Group, located in Arlington, VA. Bloomberg Industry Group is a technology and information services company. This 18-month rotational program is designed to develop aspiring finance professionals through exposure to financial planning, business operations, process optimization, and risk management. Associates will gain analytical and organizational skills, preparing them for a permanent role within the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Understanding: Grasp financial cycles and the operational aspects of the business and its products.
• Reporting & Analysis: Create precise reports and analyses to enhance insights and inform business decisions.
• Financial Operations Support: Contribute to revenue and operating expense analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting (Budget/Quarterly).
• Sales & Contracts Management: Draft and approve customer contracts, process incoming orders, and calculate sales credit awards.
• Compliance & Sourcing: Provide sourcing solutions, execute vendor payments, ensure license compliance, and support internal control effectiveness.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Accounting, or other related majors; or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Strong skills with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel. Expected start date of August 2026.
• Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel), analytical skills, organizational skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Power BI/Tableau.
