Market Research Intern | TheGuarantors
The Tone:
This is an internship at TheGuarantors, located in New York, NY. The company is a fintech organization that helps multifamily owners and operators manage leasing risks while expanding housing access for renters. This role is crucial for supporting commercial strategy development by gathering and synthesizing market research and competitive intelligence. Interns will take on meaningful responsibility, working on real field research and executive-level materials, gaining visibility to senior leadership.

• Pay: $25–$30 hourly
• Team: Reports to the Strategy & GTM team, collaborating with Sales leadership, with exposure to the CEO.
• Mission: Help gather and make sense of market research and competitive intelligence to support the company’s core market commercial strategy.
• Tech Stack: Excel, PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive Market Research: Conduct thorough market research using analysis, direct investigation, and on-the-ground site visits.
• Prepare Materials: Assist in creating presentations and reports suitable for executive-level review.
• Collaborate Internally: Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Partner Success, and Operations to collect data and integrate insights.
• Contribute to Strategy: Aid in various analyses and special projects that are directly linked to the company’s most important strategic priorities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student interested in client interaction, with potential early professional experience in real estate, client services, or consulting.
• Experience: 0-1 years of experience; internships in real estate, client services, or consulting are preferred.
• Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders; capacity to structure solutions for ambiguous business challenges; strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Bonus: Exposure to commercial multifamily real estate, proptech, or insurance; basic familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint.
