Finance Intern – Fall 2026 | ABB

This is a hybrid internship at ABB, located in Alpharetta, GA. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: Hybrid, Alpharetta, GA
• Pay: $20–$34 hourly
• Team: Reports to FOM
• Mission: Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, support process improvements, and contribute to the efficiency of financial operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Expense Management: Process and reconcile employee travel and expense (T&E) reimbursements, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and timely payment, and investigate and resolve related discrepancies.
• Invoice Processing: Review, validate, and submit vendor invoices, monitoring their approval and payment status, and identifying and resolving processing issues to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments.
• Process Improvement: Support initiatives aimed at improving processes by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy within financial operations.
• Documentation & Analysis: Document end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), analyze workflows to identify process gaps, risks, and control improvements, and recommend and implement enhancements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field within the United States.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is explicitly required; candidates must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite and be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Skills: Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions, effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality, and collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide project updates.
