FP&A Analyst | Novolex

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Novolex, located in various US locations. Novolex is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging, serving multiple industries like foodservice, grocery, and industrial sectors. They offer a diverse range of products, including resin, paper, molded fiber, and aluminum, with over 39,000 SKUs. This FP&A Analyst position is critical for supporting Novolex’s financial planning, reporting, and performance management. The role directly contributes to strategic decision-making by providing accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Support the preparation, consolidation, and delivery of monthly management reports, including P&L, cash flow, margin performance, and key operational KPIs.
• Data Management: Maintain standard daily, weekly, and monthly reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment of data across various sources to enhance visibility into business performance.
• Presentations: Partner in developing monthly, quarterly, and Board-level presentations, focusing on standardized templates and content alignment.
• Forecasting: Support the end-to-end Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasting processes, including template design, timeline management, consolidation, and coordination across business units.
• Analysis: Develop and deliver ad hoc analyses and reports to support business needs, leadership requests, and strategic initiatives, providing insights into risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas; ability to synthesize large and complex data sets.
• Bonus: Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP/EPM Solutions (SAP, OneStream).
