Financial Analyst | Robert Half

This is a full-time role at Robert Half, supporting a growing manufacturing organization with multiple sites. This position plays a crucial part in the financial health and operational efficiency of the plant by providing essential reporting, analysis, and decision support. The Financial Analyst will work closely with both operations and finance leaders to drive informed financial strategies.

• Mission: Support plant finance, cost analysis, month-end close, and forecasting activities to provide reporting, insights, and decision support across multiple sites.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Close: Support the monthly financial close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, inventory counts, and detailed variance analysis.
• Reporting & Insights: Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly operating reports, providing insightful commentary for leadership review.
• Cost Analysis: Review and validate Bills of Material (BOMs), raw material usage data, and product costing information for accuracy.
• Operational Partnership: Collaborate with plant leadership to analyze critical operational KPIs such as production output, scrap rates, and yield performance.
• Financial Planning: Contribute to the annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes, alongside performance analysis against established targets.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience specifically within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating proficiency with ERP systems.
• Skills: Expert-level Excel proficiency, strong command of cost accounting principles, budgeting methodologies, and financial reporting standards.
• Bonus: Pursuit or completion of CPA or CMA certification.
