What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Develop, update, and maintain robust financial models for budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and comprehensive financial data reporting.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct detailed monthly financial analysis, including advanced financial modeling and ongoing monitoring of business results to understand their impact on the bottom line.
• Variance Explanation: Define and clearly communicate the key drivers of budget variances, ensuring thorough understanding among all responsible parties.
• Reporting & Consolidation: Consolidate and report monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans, providing related summary commentary and in-depth analysis.
• Management Presentation: Prepare and present financial analysis, including regular and ad-hoc reports, business reviews, and key presentations, to influence management decisions effectively.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field to ensure a foundational understanding of financial principles.
• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in either management reporting or financial analysis is required, demonstrating a solid history in financial data interpretation.
• Skills: Strong capabilities in financial analysis and research, proficiency in the Microsoft Office Products Suite (with particular emphasis on Excel for advanced data manipulation), and proven ability in report development are essential for this role.
• Bonus: Prior experience with Essbase Financial Reporting tool or similar platforms is preferred, alongside a background in property investments or specific experience with profitability analysis.
