• Mission: Support deal teams in the analysis of prospective investments, due diligence, and monitoring of portfolio companies to facilitate growth and value creation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Investments: Actively analyze prospective investment opportunities with a highly analytical approach.
• Manage Portfolio: Monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies and interact directly with their management teams.
• Conduct Due Diligence: Support deal teams through the due diligence process, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Evaluate Acquisitions: Evaluate potential add-on acquisitions for current portfolio companies to support their growth.
• Research and Strategize: Prepare detailed industry research and assist senior investment professionals in developing new investment strategies.
• Participate in Committees: Prepare materials for and participate in meetings of Roark’s Investment Committee.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum 3.5 GPA with outstanding academic credentials, preferably concentrated in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a major demonstrating strong quantitative ability.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
• Skills: Exceptional work ethic, deep analytical capabilities, and excellent writing and research skills. Must be detail-oriented with strong communication and organization skills, highly collaborative, open to feedback, willing to learn, and intellectually curious. Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly shifting priorities while maintaining focus, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency.
