Equity Research Analyst – Consumer Sector | Capital Fund Management (CFM)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Serve: Serve as a fundamental equity analyst within the Semi-Systematic team.
• Generate: Generate alpha-generative long/short investment ideas for portfolio inclusion.
• Utilize: Harness additional insights from internal datasets to enhance investment decisions.
• Influence: Influence systematic models through specialized fundamental coverage expertise.
• Analyze: Follow a large universe of mid to large cap global equities in the consumer sector, identifying areas of market mistakes and divergent views.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-Career professional with 4 to 7 years of public investing experience, including specific coverage of the consumer sector.
• Experience: 4 to 7 years of public investing experience, with at least 2 years covering the consumer sector.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills for fundamental equity research, keen attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Bonus: MBA and/or CFA certification, 2+ years of buyside equity experience, and ability to code in Python.
