Equity research analyst – Financials sector | Capital Fund Management (CFM)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute: Contribute alpha-generative long/short investment ideas into the portfolio.
• Harness: Harness additional insights from internal datasets to inform investment strategies.
• Influence: Influence systematic models through your fundamental coverage expertise within the financials sector.
• Follow: Follow a large universe of mid to large cap global equities within your assigned sector.
• Focus: Selectively focus on potential areas of market mistakes and divergent views to identify opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Public investing professional with experience covering the financials sector.
• Experience: 4 to 7 years of public investing experience, with at least 2 years covering the financials sector.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively, passion for investment research, and the capability to distill, reconcile, and synthesize information to develop differentiated views.
• Bonus: 2+ years of buyside equity experience, MBA and/or CFA preferred, and ability to code in Python.
