What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Insights: Combine industry and market knowledge with the UBS HOLT framework to generate and market actionable investment insights to clients.
• Client Solutions: Utilize modelling, valuation, and analytical skills to provide clients with investment insights and/or idea generation.
• Framework Maintenance: Develop expertise in financial statement analysis and accounting adjustments to eliminate accounting distortions and maintain the quality of the HOLT framework.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain a client network through client meetings and bespoke projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A degree in Finance or Accounting related disciplines, or holding or pursuing professional certifications such as CFA or CPA.
• Experience: Ideally 1+ year of experience in Equity Research, Public Accounting, Investment Banking, or working as a Financial Analyst.
• Skills: A strong understanding of valuation and corporate performance with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate fundamental views articulately.
• Bonus: Experience with Python and SQL is a plus.
