INTERN SALES ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER | La Maison du Chocolat USA
The Tone:
This is an internship at La Maison du Chocolat USA, a renowned French luxury chocolatier operating globally as part of the Savencia Gourmet group. The company, founded in 1977, specializes in premium food service and sweet gastronomy, with a vast Corporate Sales program. This role is crucial for supporting the day-to-day operations of the B2B corporate sales division, offering a unique opportunity to gain practical experience across sales, operations, supply chain, and finance within a luxury environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Account Management: Receive hands-on training to create and manage client accounts, contacts, and sales opportunities within Salesforce (CRM) and Gourmet (ERP), while developing a strong understanding of the corporate gifting assortment and business processes.
• Corporate Sales Support: Prepare accurate quotations for corporate clients and assist with the full order management cycle from initial quote to final delivery, ensuring all client inquiries are responded to promptly via email and phone with team support, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate directly with Supply Chain, Production, and Sales teams to ensure the smooth execution of all orders, contribute to inventory planning and order forecasting for key corporate clients, and help monitor upcoming deliveries and replenishment needs.
• Financial Administration: Learn the complete invoicing process for both domestic and international clients, support payment reconciliation and follow up on aging reports in collaboration with the Accounting team, gaining exposure to accounts receivable and collection processes.
• Business Operations & Engagement: Maintain precise client information in Salesforce and Gourmet, update sales trackers to monitor monthly performance, contribute to reporting and process improvement initiatives, and provide support for corporate events, client activations, trade shows, and pop-up experiences.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: No prior experience required; comfort with Microsoft Office is expected.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Bonus: Experience with Salesforce or an ERP system is a plus, as is an interest in luxury retail and corporate sales environments.
