The Tone:
This is a contract role at Dexis, located in Washington, DC. What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Proposals: Conduct in-depth financial, technical, economic, legal, marketing, and political feasibility analyses of new loan proposals, including country and project-related risks.
• Perform Financial Modeling: Independently perform detailed financial analyses of proposals, create or modify financial projections, and conduct sensitivity analyses to assess project assumptions and debt service ability.
• Prepare & Present Credit Proposals: Summarize due diligence findings clearly in credit packages and memoranda, then present proposed loans to credit approval committees to obtain necessary approvals.
• Manage Transactions: Serve as the primary point of contact for advancing transactions daily, including scheduling calls, project management, and coordinating between clients, internal parties, and external advisors.
• Oversee Ancillary Workstreams: Manage related tasks such as liaising with clients and intradepartmental teams, reviewing environmental/social aspects, and completing know-your-customer diligence for all transactions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of a master’s degree in international business/studies, international relations, finance, business, economics, political science, or a related field; must be a US Citizen or Foreign National with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher-level clearance.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in international finance, corporate finance, or project finance and investments within the last 7 years; experience analyzing and structuring complex international finance, creating/auditing financial models for debt finance in developing markets, and conducting project finance loan origination.
• Skills: In-depth financial analysis, economic or political risk analysis, detailed credit analysis, broad and comprehensive knowledge of international business finance, and excellent English speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
• Bonus: Experience working with minimal supervision on simultaneous projects in a complex environment under deadlines, and demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise written materials.
