What You’ll Actually Do
• Generate comprehensive performance reporting for all client portfolios by meticulously reviewing and accurately inputting financial statements, and then prepare essential supporting materials for critical investment committee meetings.
• Ensure the utmost accuracy and timeliness of all reporting outputs through close and proactive collaboration with internal investment and operations teams, alongside engaging with external fund managers.
• Proactively track and meticulously reconcile unfunded commitments specifically associated with a range of private equity investments, maintaining robust financial data integrity.
• Perform in-depth analysis of fund returns and conduct detailed performance attribution/driver analytics, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Calculate monthly cash balances with precision and execute rigorous reconciliations across all designated portfolios, ensuring complete financial transparency and control.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is unequivocally required, positioning you as an experienced professional within the intricate domain of finance, with a demonstrated focus on advanced fund accounting practices.
• Experience: Over 7 years of progressive professional experience is essential within a finance or accounting role, complemented by a strong and proven background in diverse fund investments, particularly within the private equity landscape.
• Skills: Demonstrated expertise in Performance Reporting, comprehensive Private Equity Fund Accounting methodologies, meticulous Financial Reconciliation, sophisticated Investment Performance Analysis, and effective Stakeholder Collaboration.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree specifically in Finance or Accounting is strongly preferred, as it provides a foundational enhancement to the core competencies required for this specialized role.
