This Associate role is crucial in supporting the global equity research teams by meticulously compiling, analyzing, and summarizing critical data and information, directly contributing to the production of high-quality, fundamental equity research reports for the Medical Technology & Healthcare IT sector.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Industry Insight: Develop strong industry and company knowledge within the Medical Technology & Healthcare IT sector, interpreting data and performing analysis on market, economic, and industry trends.
• Financial Modeling: Build and rigorously maintain financial models for companies and industries under coverage.
• Investment Idea Generation: Conduct primary and secondary market research to support analysis and contribute to the generation and execution of investment ideas.
• Research Reporting: Write comprehensive reports on companies under coverage and collaborate on broader cross-sector thematic reports.
• Information Management: Update and maintain recurring reports (monthly, weekly, marketing books, valuation sheets) and respond to ad hoc requests from clients, sales, and traders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Working knowledge of accounting, finance, and valuation principles, essential for financial analysis.
• Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in a financial research or analytical role.
• Skills: Demonstrated interest in the Healthcare and/or Medical Technology/Healthcare IT/Digital Health sector, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a proactive, resourceful approach.
• Bonus: Proficiency with technology and automation tools such as Alteryx and PowerBI.
