What You’ll Actually Do
• Auditing: Perform financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for diverse client industries.
• Documentation: Review and document audit procedures over complex accounting areas.
• Research: Research and analyze accounting and audit-related issues to inform client engagements.
• Analysis: Utilize data extraction, analytics, and visualization tools to provide insights to clients.
• Collaboration: Proactively interact with the engagement team to gather information, resolve problems, and recommend business and process improvements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028, with availability to begin full-time work between January 2028 and October 2028.
• Skills: Understanding of financial statement audit procedures, accounting research, data analysis, and client interaction.
• Bonus: A preferred overall GPA of 3.3 (3.0 minimum), or a combination of educational success and relevant work/volunteer experience; plans to pursue minimum requirements for CPA eligibility.
