• Team: Corporate Development team, reporting to Corporate Development leadership and partnering with business units, finance, legal, and strategy teams.
• Mission: Support the evaluation and execution of inorganic growth opportunities to enhance McKesson’s impact in healthcare.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sourcing: Support the development and maintenance of a pipeline for potential transaction opportunities, tracking industry activity and managing inbound leads.
• Evaluation: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and strategic assessments to prepare insights for leadership discussions.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, business plans, and pro forma models to identify key drivers and assumptions for potential transactions.
• Execution: Coordinate due diligence efforts across functional areas, synthesizing findings, and contributing to investment memoranda and executive presentations.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across business units and corporate functions to facilitate communication and alignment throughout transaction processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity/venture capital, or transaction advisory/strategy.
• Skills: Strong foundation in financial analysis and valuation, ability to synthesize market data into actionable insights, structured problem-solving, clear communication of findings, high attention to detail, effective collaboration in cross-functional environments, and project coordination.
• Bonus: Experience supporting M&A transactions or strategic initiatives; familiarity with financial tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, CapIQ, or PitchBook; exposure to working with external advisors (investment bankers, consultants, legal teams); healthcare or related industry experience; MBA or advanced degree.
