Accounting Intern | Arrow Electronics
The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Arrow Electronics, located in Denver, CO, with a hybrid work arrangement. This role offers an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual the opportunity to contribute to Arrow’s Internal Reporting team. The intern will work closely with accounting and finance teams across the globe to review, analyze, and consolidate Arrow’s worldwide financial results. This foundational work directly supports the preparation of financial reports for executive management and various other internal teams. Additionally, the position provides valuable exposure to intercompany transactions and their proper accounting treatment, fostering accurate and meaningful reporting within an evolving business environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Analyze monthly financial results from businesses around the world.
• Prepare: Prepare financial reports for leadership, including ad-hoc requests.
• Reconcile: Reconcile key balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Assess: Assess journal entries for compliance with US GAAP.
• Review: Review international statutory financial statements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: This is an entry-level internship position; no prior professional experience is explicitly required, but the ability to commit 20-40 hours per week is necessary.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, detail-oriented work ethic, ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and adaptability in an ever-changing environment.
• Bonus: Prior accounting experience, previous work experience, or a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.
