• Mission: This person supports the Structured Finance business by driving strategy, business development, market intelligence, and transaction analytics for lending solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Pipeline Management: Maintain the structured finance pipeline, prepare summaries for senior management, and support opportunity prioritization, client targeting, and sector activity monitoring.
• Market Intelligence: Track structured finance market activity, including pricing, terms, structures, competitors, and league tables, synthesizing key takeaways from various sources.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct P&L, balance sheet, distribution activity, and RWA/capital analysis and forecasting, delivering integrated insights to product teams and support areas.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain a forward-looking strategic plan across the business and product portfolios, defining levers to achieve growth and performance objectives.
• Presentation Building: Create polished presentation materials, capability decks, and internal readouts, ensuring accuracy, clear storylines, and executive-ready formatting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with working knowledge of structured finance and lending concepts such as capital structure, credit metrics, pricing/terms, and documentation mechanics.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in structured finance, project/infrastructure finance, leveraged/structured lending, credit, capital markets analytics, or a closely related banking role; or 2+ years of experience in a business development, strategy or finance role at an investment bank.
• Skills: Advanced Excel skills, strong PowerPoint skills, hands-on experience with Dealogic/Infralogic, FactSet and/or Capital IQ, and Bloomberg, and practical experience using AI tools to accelerate research and streamline workflows.
• Bonus: Exposure to structured finance subsectors (e.g., infrastructure, renewables, transportation), experience with internal banking processes like credit approval support and diligence tracking, and proficiency in Power Query / Power Pivot, basic VBA, or other productivity enhancements.
