The Tone:
This is a hybrid internship role at LiveDura, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area with some remote flexibility. LiveDura, operated by LiveDrop LLC, is a technology startup building a new social media and music distribution platform specifically designed for artists and creators. The company’s mission is to empower artists by giving them more control over their music, fanbase, and earning opportunities through a single app that combines community, content, and direct music sales. This role is crucial for supporting daily operations and preparations as LiveDura gets ready for its significant August 8th launch, offering hands-on experience in building a real platform from the ground up.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Support: Provide essential assistance with the day-to-day operational needs of the startup.
• Creator Engagement: Support efforts in reaching out to and engaging with artists and creators to build the platform’s community.
• Event Coordination: Contribute to the preparation and organization of various events planned for the platform’s launch and ongoing activities.
• Platform Testing: Conduct thorough testing of the mobile application to ensure functionality, identify issues, and provide feedback for a smooth user experience.
• Information Management & Communication: Perform basic research, assist with creating and maintaining documentation, and facilitate effective communication within the small team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suitable for a student currently pursuing or someone who has recently completed a degree. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in startups, music, technology, mobile apps, social media, or creator platforms.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is explicitly required for this internship; however, a willingness to learn and contribute to building a real platform is essential.
• Skills: Possess strong communication and organizational abilities. Candidates must be comfortable using common digital tools such as spreadsheets, email, document editors, and task-management software. The ability to work reliably, pay close attention to detail, operate independently, and collaborate effectively within a small team is also necessary.
• Bonus: Preferred candidates are pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, Music Business, or a related academic field.
