What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Close: Prepare and post journal entries, perform flux analysis, prepare reconciliations, and execute SOX controls as part of the month-end close process.
• Reporting: Prepare any additional regional disclosures required for Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and generate month-end management reports.
• Business Partnering: Support partnerships with upstream data owners, internal and external auditors, and the Global Process Manager to resolve various accounting matters.
• Process Improvement: Participate in moderate project work focused on process improvement as needed.
• Technical Application: Develop and apply a strong understanding of general accounting principles when accounting for transactions within the scope of work.

• Background: Active duty military service member within or nearing a 180-day window for separation, or a military spouse fellow. This role involves developing professional expertise in accounting and applying company policies and procedures.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to learn and build competency in a trade or profession; an interest in exploring a civilian career upon separation from active duty.
• Skills: Foundational understanding and application of general accounting principles (GAAP); ability to execute SOX controls; capability to analyze situations or data requiring review of various factors; effective collaboration to resolve mutual problems.
