What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee: Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial statements, trend analyses, monitoring reports, and covenant tests in line with bank standards and credit policies.
• Analyze: Examine financial data to prepare comprehensive written analyses and assess portfolio credit quality.
• Support: Assist with industry sector reviews to evaluate market trends and potential risks.
• Prepare: Help Portfolio Managers create and present credit requests for credit approval.
• Maintain: Manage a database for compliance monitoring, tracking credit agreement requirements, customer financial reporting, and credit metric trends.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a finance or analytical field.
• Experience: One to three years in a finance or analytical related role.
• Skills: Effective analytical and technical report writing; strong verbal and written communication; ability to perform financial analyses independently.
• Bonus: Foundational knowledge in economics, accounting, and/or finance, with the ability to apply this understanding to the overall lending and business environment.
