What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Analysis: Build complex financial models and perform sophisticated analyses to drive critical investment decisions for new business initiatives within the Sub Same Day (SSD) network.
• Capital Management: Lead comprehensive capital planning and optimization efforts for the growing SSD network, including building launch strategies, capex forecasting, allocation, and detailed ROI analysis.
• Strategic Partnership: Partner directly with business teams to define financial and non-financial trade-offs, making thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous environments to support strategic growth.
• Data Integrity: Identify and solve complex data integrity issues while maintaining high standards for accuracy and reliability across financial reporting.
• Solution Development: Develop and implement scalable financial solutions to improve existing tools, technology, and processes, fostering efficiency and innovation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
• Experience: 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of finance experience.
• Skills: Financial modeling, capital planning, ROI analysis, data integrity, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis.
• Bonus: MBA or CPA; 6+ years experience identifying data root causes; 6+ years solving business challenges with financial analysis; knowledge of SQL/ETL; experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
