Internship – Equity Research Analyst (Summer 2027) | Baird

• Team: Focused industry group, working closely with Analysts in small teams (2-3 people).
• Mission: To play an integral role in the research process by providing quantitative support and deep sector expertise to help clients make informed investment decisions.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct integral research, providing quantitative support for industry- and company-specific projects.
• Analysis: Collect industry data and develop deep sector expertise to guide client investment decisions.
• Reporting: Draft reports and communicate findings, including assisting with field research.
• Engagement: Interact directly with executives from covered companies, such as CEOs and CFOs.
• Client Relations: Discuss research findings with internal sales & trading associates and external institutional clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program, seeking graduation in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Experience: A proven track record of academic excellence.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills; ability to work effectively within a team and on a self-directed basis.
• Bonus: A Finance or Accounting degree is strongly preferred.
