What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Ownership: Own all financial aspects of the Epic-Customer relationship, meticulously ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions and reporting.
• Cross-functional Partnership: Serve as a fair partner, actively working cross-functionally across various internal departments to anticipate and clearly communicate all financial considerations to relevant stakeholders.
• Proactive Management: Be proactive in all aspects of financial tracking, forecasting, and escalating potential issues to strategically drive the overall financial health of Epic.
• Relationship Management: Maintain successful, long-term customer relationships through consistent, fair, and transparent financial management practices.
• Exposure and Development: Gain broad exposure across a variety of finance functions within the company and develop long-term relationships with customer executive and leadership teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or greater, with a strong academic foundation in Finance or a closely related major.
• Experience: Demonstrate a history of academic and professional success; be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship; possess a willingness to relocate to Epic’s campus in Madison, WI, with financial relocation assistance provided; and be COVID-19 vaccinated.
• Skills: Possess core competencies in financial tracking, forecasting, and the ability to clearly communicate complex financial considerations to diverse stakeholders.
