This is a full-time role at Goldman Sachs, located in New York, New York, United States. • Mission: Develop and strengthen client relationships, lead advisory teams, and execute financial transactions to help clients achieve major milestones.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Create, analyze, and develop financial models to support transaction processes and perform customized company valuation analysis.
• Transaction Management: Actively participate in and help manage mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, as well as fixed income and equity issuances.
• Client Advisory: Organize and prepare presentations to explain industry trends, assess client situations, provide necessary financial advice, and recommend strategies to meet client goals.
• Deal Execution & Coordination: Coordinate teams of tax advisors, auditors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions, lead due diligence processes, and participate in legal documentation negotiations and funding.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s Degree and several years of Natural Resources investment banking experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and seven or more years of Natural Resources investment banking or equivalent experience, ideally at a Vice President level.
• Experience: Strong track record of executing M&A and financing transactions in an investment banking advisory role, with at least two years of experience leading deal teams of analysts and associates.
• Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, company valuation analysis, M&A transaction management, presentation development, client relationship management, and coordinating complex due diligence processes.
• Bonus: History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
