The Tone:
This is an in-person intern role at Gala Investments LLC, located in Cary, NC. Gala Investments is actively engaged in significant capital raising efforts. This position is integral to the success of these initiatives, providing direct support to the investor relations function. The intern’s contributions are essential for maintaining professional investor communications, ensuring efficient fundraising administration, and delivering an outstanding overall investor experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investor Communications: Professionally engage with prospective and existing investors via email and telephone, and meticulously coordinate follow-ups to ensure all inquiries are promptly addressed.
• Fundraising Support: Strategically schedule meetings, meticulously prepare all necessary investor materials and presentations, and distribute fundraising updates and due diligence packages.
• Investor Onboarding: Guide investors through the completion of essential documents such as subscription agreements, accreditation forms, questionnaires, and other onboarding materials.
• Information Management: Maintain comprehensive and accurate CRM records, including investor contact information, commitments, and meeting notes, while also organizing and verifying digital investor documentation for completeness and currency.
• Platform Operations: Become proficient in the Cash Flow Portal to upload and organize investor documents, assist with creating and maintaining investor profiles, and track onboarding progress.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively enrolled student demonstrating a keen interest in finance, capital markets, or investor relations. Expected to become familiar with Gala Investments’ capital raising process and develop a working knowledge of investment documentation.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, timely and proactive communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
