What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Analysis: Analyze potential leads for business succession, M&A, and divestitures through profile analysis and financial modeling.
• Develop Client Materials: Create high-quality client experience materials for all pitch proposals and new engagements.
• Manage Client Pipeline: Source and identify potential new clients while maintaining the customer relationship management pipeline.
• Negotiate Terms: Build quantitative analysis and modeling to assist in negotiating engagement letters, including fee structures.
• Conduct Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive due diligence activities related to ongoing transactional pipeline projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with a strong financial and accounting foundation, coupled with an in-depth understanding of investment banking and business succession concepts and principles.
• Experience: Preferred 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Wealth Management, or Business Succession.
• Skills:
• Strong financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and accounting proficiency.
• High-level communication and negotiation skills for client engagement and deal structuring.
• Proven leadership abilities, including the capacity to develop and mentor others.
• Research skills to identify and seek out necessary information for complex tasks.
• Ability to perform complex tasks independently, make informed decisions, and meet critical deadlines.
• Bonus: Master’s degree preferred.
