Capital Markets Associate | RemoteHunter

This role directly supports the financial structuring and funding of clean energy projects, ensuring their viability and expansion by managing complex financial processes. The position contributes to advancing clean energy by securing critical funding and managing financial compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Develop and maintain financial models, including project finance, DCF analysis, and valuations for renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate: Coordinate with lenders, investors, and financial stakeholders to fulfill funding conditions and facilitate project financing.
• Analyze: Conduct sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and financial due diligence by reviewing contracts and project documents to evaluate risks and returns.
• Structure: Assist in structuring and negotiating financing agreements, preparing financial analyses and presentations for investment committees and partners.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with engineering, finance, and legal teams for cohesive project delivery and communicate project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong understanding of project finance concepts.
• Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or corporate finance; renewable energy experience is preferred.
• Skills: Proven skills in financial modeling, analysis, and valuation of infrastructure or energy projects; knowledge of renewable energy financing mechanisms; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree or professional certification such as CFA or CPA.
