Sr. Financial Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions | DaVita Kidney Care

The Tone:
This is a remote-eligible role at DaVita Kidney Care, with an option to work from the North Bethesda, MD office. DaVita Kidney Care is dedicated to supporting development and growth efforts, encompassing acquisitions, joint venture de novos, and divestitures. This role is crucial for executing high-volume transactions and provides opportunities for long-term internal career advancement within the company. The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key part in the Corporate Development team, working across various departments to drive strategic initiatives.

The TL;DR

• Team: Corporate Development (M&A) team, working closely with Vice President and Transaction Directors
• Mission: Support all development and growth efforts through transaction execution, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Valuation: Build complex Excel valuation models for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• Analysis: Evaluate deals using discounted cash flow analyses and metrics such as IRR and EBITDA multiples.
• Financial Statement Creation: Create pro forma income and cash flow statements for potential joint ventures.
• Due Diligence Management: Manage the due diligence process, including leading site visits, coordinating with sellers, and collecting data.
• Presentation Development: Create presentations and proposals for potential sellers, joint venture partners, senior management, and the board of directors.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of direct transaction-oriented analytical experience.
• Skills: Strong finance, analytical, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in building complex Excel valuation models; ability to manage due diligence processes.
• Bonus: Experience in investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate development preferred.
