What You’ll Actually Do
• Schedules: Prepare analytical schedules for discussions with management of target companies.
• Analysis: Identify key transaction focus areas through preliminary analysis and research public industry and competitor information.
• Research: Research technical accounting topics for contemplated transactions and review target company’s accounting policies for GAAP application.
• Investigation: Investigate contingent liabilities, off-balance sheet items, and related party transactions.
• Reporting: Analyze quality of earnings and non-recurring items, participate in management discussions, and contribute to the report-writing process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor or Master of Science/Business Administration in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related accounting or finance work experience, with public accounting experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: CPA or CPA eligible, demonstrated leadership experience, and flexibility to travel as needed.
