What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Execution: Assist in sourcing, structuring, and executing various real estate debt transactions, including CMBS, bridge loans, construction loans, and mezzanine financing.
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate debt structures, loan sizing, pricing, and repayment scenarios.
• Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence on debt markets, interest rate trends, and financing opportunities.
• Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare financing memoranda, presentations, and reports for lenders, investment committees, and internal stakeholders.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor the performance of outstanding debt transactions and provide portfolio-level analysis of risk and return.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in real estate finance, debt capital markets, investment banking, or commercial lending.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and structured finance modeling, understanding of commercial real estate debt structures (CMBS, bridge loans), excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines, familiarity with real estate due diligence, underwriting, and credit risk assessment processes, and knowledge of macroeconomic and interest rate trends impacting real estate capital markets.
