This is an early career role at Vista Equity Partners, located in New York, NY. This position serves as an entry point into private markets fundraising, supporting the Private Wealth Solutions team in capital formation, investor servicing, and sales execution within the rapidly growing private wealth channel. • Mission: Support the Family Office & RIA Coverage Team across investor servicing, operational execution, and sales support to drive capital formation efforts within the private wealth channel.
• Tech Stack: Salesforce, Fintrx, PitchBook, Claude
What You’ll Actually Do
• Investor Servicing: Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound LP requests, managing diligence inquiries, custom materials, and DDQ processes from initiation through completion.
• Sales Support: Support Coverage Officers and the Sr. Internal Sales Associate in identifying, prioritizing, and engaging warm leads, maintaining accurate Salesforce pipeline data, and assisting with outbound outreach.
• Operational Execution: Coordinate conference and event logistics, track event budgets and expenses, and act as a primary interface with Vista’s business operations, marketing, and product teams.
• Automation Development: Identify and build automation workflows using AI tools to proactively reduce repetitive operational friction within the team’s daily activities.
• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with Product teams to ensure coordination around fundraising processes, investor engagement strategies, and key internal updates.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with 1 to 2 years of professional experience and a genuine interest in private markets and financial services as a career.
• Experience: Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail required to manage multiple workstreams across various regions and internal partners.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with investors and senior internal stakeholders; demonstrated AI fluency, not just as a user but as a builder of tools and automations; self-starter mentality with a strong sense of accountability.
• Bonus: Prior internship or work experience in financial services, investor relations, asset management, or a technology-adjacent field; demonstrable skill in building AI-native tools that drive enterprise value; familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms; experience with Fintrx, PitchBook, or other private markets research tools; comfort working with large datasets and synthesizing information; prior exposure to private equity, private credit, or alternative investment products.
