Investment Analyst Senior | Endeavor Health

This is a full-time role at Endeavor Health, located in Evanston, IL or Arlington Heights, IL. Endeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing quality care and serving over 4.2 million residents. This role is an integral part of a rapidly growing investment team managing over $8 billion in investment assets, including a corporate endowment fund and several defined contribution plans. The Senior Investment Analyst will work closely with senior team members to manage investment activities, particularly focusing on private equity and co-investments, contributing to the organization’s financial strength and mission.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Management: Assist in managing all asset classes, with a particular focus on private equity, real estate, and infrastructure funds, supporting the diligence process for investment manager recommendations.
• Market Research: Pursue new investment themes through market mapping, manager introductions, reference calls, and investment manager pipeline reviews, including participating in and leading diligence trips.
• Opportunity Analysis: Analyze co-investment opportunities and assist in preparing detailed deal review materials for the Investment Committee.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor existing investments and asset classes by attending manager update calls, annual meetings, conferences, and evaluating quarterly materials and research reports.
• Portfolio Reporting: Maintain quantitative and qualitative profiles of investment managers and support portfolio reporting by developing and maintaining exposure models, commitment pacing models, and Investment Committee review materials.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science required, with preferred fields of study including economics, social sciences, mathematical sciences, engineering, computer science, business, or other relevant disciplines.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required, with strongest candidates typically possessing 2-6 years; relevant experience at a fund of funds, endowment/foundation, pension fund, investment management firm, or investment consulting/OCIO firm is preferred.
• Skills: Investment manager sourcing and diligencing experience, particularly in private equity and/or co-investments; ability to independently develop and defend investment recommendations; in-depth knowledge of capital markets; strong writing, presentation, and communication skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Bonus: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, or progress toward certification; experience with third-party database/analysis providers such as eVestment, InvestmentMetrics, Pitchbook, and Preqin.
