Quantitative Research Intern (BS/MS) – Summer 2027 | IMC Trading

The Tone:
This is an internship at IMC Trading, located in-person. IMC is a global trading firm powered by a cutting-edge research environment and a world-class technology backbone, providing essential liquidity in financial markets. This role offers an opportunity to experience life as a Quant Researcher, exploring new research ideas and building custom analysis tools that may be deployed into production. Interns who meet performance expectations will have the chance to secure a full-time Graduate Quant Researcher position, making this a pivotal step in your career.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current university student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or another highly quantitative field, with a graduation date between September 2027 and July 2028.
• Experience: Ability to commit to a 10-week in-person internship starting on June 7, 2027.
• Skills: Superior numerical, analytical, and critical thinking skills; a passion for research and solving complex problems; a creative, driven, and resilient approach to developing trading intuition.
• Bonus: Experience in a programming language such as Python, C, or C++.
