Senior Associate, Corporate Finance FP&A | Finatal

What You’ll Actually Do
• M&A Execution: Lead day-to-day execution of buy-side M&A transactions from initial evaluation through diligence and closing.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional transaction workstreams across executive leadership, private equity ownership, lenders, sell-side advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Financial Modeling: Oversee and enhance acquisition, valuation, pro forma, integration, and capital structure financial models.
• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda, Board presentations, lender materials, and executive reporting packages.
• Due Diligence & Process Improvement: Lead financial due diligence efforts and standardize the company’s M&A processes and transaction playbook.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Senior individual contributor role focused on corporate finance and M&A, requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Infrastructure Investing, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or transaction-focused Corporate Finance. Demonstrated experience leading mergers & acquisitions, financial due diligence, and transaction execution. Experience managing multiple stakeholders including private equity sponsors, lenders, and executive leadership.
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership, Boards, or investors. Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Prior experience within a private equity-backed operating company. Experience within infrastructure, telecom, fiber, broadband, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries.
