What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Financials: Support EDV program forecasts and budgets across revenue, COGS, Opex, and Capex by preparing templates, updating models, and validating inputs under guidance.
• Performance Analysis: Assist in monthly and quarterly performance reviews for EDV, including data pulls, variance bridges, first-pass commentary on key drivers, and maintaining program P&L views and simple dashboards.
• Data Navigation: Independently navigate data sources such as ERP, planning tools, and BI dashboards to pull required datasets, reconcile discrepancies, and structure data for cross-functional analysis.
• Decision Support: Analyze cross-functional inputs for EDV decisions, applying core finance concepts (NPV, IRR, payback period, scenario comparisons) to evaluate investments and cost-reduction initiatives, and prepare simple business cases.
• Close & Reporting: Partner with Accounting and other Finance teams to support month-end and quarter-end close activities for EDV, preparing accrual support, basic reconciliations, and updating standard reporting slides and KPIs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; or a combination of equivalent education and experience. This early-career role requires a solid understanding of core financial concepts, including NPV, IRR, discounted cash flow basics, the relationship between Revenue, COGS, Gross Margin, and operating expenses, how changes in volume, price, cost, and mix impact a P&L, and basic awareness of P&L–balance sheet interactions.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience, which may include finance, FP&A, consulting, investment banking, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics roles. Meaningful internship or co-op experience with exposure to financial modeling, data analysis, or operational decision-making is also a strong qualification.
• Skills: High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas, and charts, with comfort working with large, detailed datasets. Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous questions into structured steps and check your own work. Capable of effectively articulating financial stories both in writing and verbally, including clear, concise slide content and speaking points.
• Bonus: Prior experience (internship or full-time) in manufacturing, operations, automotive, hardware, or program finance; exposure to planning and BI tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, Smartview, Hex, Databricks); experience building simple business cases or financial models for product, program, or operations decisions; and demonstrated ability to work autonomously to understand complex problems.
