Accounting Advisory Apprentice | BPM LLP

• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office platforms, Xero, QuickBooks, bill.com, Expensify, Concur, Excel, Sage Intacct, NetSuite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Actively participate in outsourced accounting services for a variety of clients.
• Learn: Learn the process and procedures of the full accounting life cycle through hands-on experience.
• Research: Research basic and intermediate accounting topics and present initial analysis to senior team members.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with clients and partner with them to deliver a quality product within predetermined deadlines.
• Perform: Perform direct accounting work on key financial statement line items such as Cash, Accounts Payable, and Inventory.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a BS/BA/MS degree in Accounting or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and intent to graduate with qualifying units for the CPA exam.
• Experience: 1-2 years of applicable work or internship experience, preferably in a bookkeeper or accountant type role within an accounting department.
• Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Office platforms and accounting software; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Excel skills including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros are a plus.
