Reset Specialist | PepsiCo

This position is essential for maintaining PepsiCo’s brand presence and merchandising standards across various smaller retail accounts, including convenience stores, gas stations, small grocery stores, and drug stores. The Reset Specialist ensures optimal product placement and attractive displays, directly impacting product visibility and sales, and supports the broader sales function through miscellaneous but critical tasks.

• Mission: Optimizing and resetting cold vaults and gondola space to PepsiCo merchandising standards and chain specific planograms.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Merchandising Execution: Reset shelves, coolers, and various points of purchase to comply with established PepsiCo merchandising standards and negotiated customer contracts.
• Stock Management: Maintain back room stock areas in a neat and orderly condition, ensuring efficient organization and accessibility.
• Promotional Placement: Effectively utilize and place point of purchase materials in each assigned account to enhance product visibility and promotional efforts.
• Relationship Cultivation: Establish and sustain positive working relationships with primary contacts at each account and internal cross-functional teams.
• Customer Service: Serve customers by fostering clear communication, building rapport, and being attentive to their specific needs and inquiries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. A High School Diploma or GED is required for this entry-level position, open to candidates 18 years or older.
• Experience: Not specified in years. Must possess personal transportation to access multiple store locations within an assigned shift, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and current proof of insurance.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to operate effectively under minimal supervision, coupled with strong communication and customer service skills necessary for engaging with store personnel and customers.
• Bonus: Prior experience working in a retail business or grocery store (e.g., understanding store operations, stocking shelves, product rotation), serving customers, or operating moving equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks is helpful.
