This is a full-time InSite Technician role at Clean Harbors, located in Sun Valley, CA, specifically at the Randall Safe Center. • Type: Full-time, Mon-Wed 6AM-2:30PM, Sat-Sun 7AM-4PM
• Location: In-person, Sun Valley, CA
• Pay: $20 hourly
• Mission: Ensure proper handling, packaging, and management of hazardous waste materials on customer sites to support a safer, cleaner environment.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Waste Collection: Facilitate waste pickups efficiently throughout customer facilities.
• Chemical Management: Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation processes.
• Compliance & Packaging: Package and label waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Site Operations: Operate forklifts, inspect drums for container integrity, and ensure safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Emergency Response: Participate in spill response on customer sites as needed, contributing to site safety.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School diploma or equivalent, with an interest in learning and applying scientific and chemical knowledge.
• Experience: Valid driver’s license is required.
• Skills: Ability to apply knowledge about science and chemistry; Capability for direct customer interaction; Physical stamina to stay active and on your feet for extended periods.
• Bonus: Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred.
