Retail Stock Associate | Rooms To Go

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Rooms To Go, located in various in-person retail store locations across ten southern states. Rooms To Go is one of the largest and fastest-growing furniture retailers in the US, with approximately 200 stores focused on expansion and innovation. This role is essential for ensuring customers receive their furniture purchases in excellent condition, maintaining an inviting showroom environment, and contributing to the overall customer experience.

• Mission: This role is responsible for ensuring customers receive their furniture purchases efficiently and that showrooms are well-maintained for an optimal shopping experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Fulfillment: Package and wrap furniture purchases for customers, ensuring items are ready for transport.
• Customer Loading: Safely load furniture purchases into customer vehicles.
• Showroom Arrangement: Arrange furniture within the showroom according to the direction of designers and managers.
• Store Presentation: Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the showrooms.
• Furniture Handling: Lift, load, unload, and assemble various types of furniture.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Experience working in a retail environment.
• Experience: General cleaning and maintenance experience is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a repetitive daily basis; capability to work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bonus: Prior furniture handling and/or janitorial experience is a plus.
