The Tone:
This is a seasonal, entry-level intern position at Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, located in Marietta, GA. Six Flags is a theme park company dedicated to providing thrilling entertainment and memorable experiences for guests. This role is crucial for supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring a welcoming environment, and providing essential assistance to Six Flags team members and applicants. The individual in this role contributes to a positive and efficient HR front office, embodying the company’s service mantra.

• Mission: To aid with the daily functions of the HR front office, assisting Six Flags team members and applicants.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Recruitment Support: Aid recruitment initiatives by participating in community outreach and staffing events, and assist with scheduling activities.
• Onboarding and Orientation: Conduct interviews and facilitate the onboarding process for new and returning team members, including guiding New Hire Orientation sessions.
• Employee Records Management: Maintain organized and accurate seasonal employee files for current and previous years, along with timesheets and disciplinary document logging.
• Team Member Engagement: Provide support for team member relations efforts, including wardrobe appointments, retention programs, and cultural integration activities for international programs.
• Office Operations: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of HR front office areas, manage a multi-line phone system, and assist with supply inventory.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others (intern/entry-level) with a passion for helping others and an engaging personality, embodying the Six Flags Mantra.
• Experience: Proven ability to use independent judgment and effectively prioritize tasks, along with strong organizational skills.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Bonus: Previous theme park experience.
