What You’ll Actually Do
• Optimize Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies that provide businesses with a fix for managing held inventory, aiming to achieve the goal of having the right product in the right place at the right time at the right price, even when initial plans don’t materialize.
• Streamline Reverse Logistics: Design and manage systems for the efficient movement and processing of goods that are returned, aged, or in excess, ensuring smooth operations for retailers and creating value for shoppers.
• Unlock Hidden Revenue: Identify and maximize revenue opportunities for retailers by effectively dealing with aged, excess, and returned inventory, thereby transforming potential losses into profitable assets.
• Develop Liquidation Alternatives: Create and offer options to clients that provide better financial outcomes than traditional liquidation, giving them control and maximizing value for distressed inventory without resorting to terms like bankruptcy.
• Provide Retailer Solutions: Support businesses in understanding and utilizing Optoro’s approach to reverse logistics, helping them navigate complex inventory challenges as described on Optoro.com and through company insights.

• Background: Foundational knowledge or academic background relevant to retail operations, supply chain management, or e-commerce, reflecting an understanding of business challenges related to inventory.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest or early experience in areas such as inventory control, logistics, or business development, aligning with Optoro’s core service of managing product flow.
