What You’ll Actually Do
• Processing Invoices: Execute the daily processing of invoice images, ensuring all relevant data is accurately captured and entered into the accounting system for subsequent financial operations and record-keeping.
• Applying Cash Receipts: Accurately apply miscellaneous cash receipts to the appropriate customer or vendor accounts, playing a key role in the daily reconciliation of incoming funds and maintaining precise financial records.
• Performing Assigned Tasks: Undertake a variety of miscellaneous accounting tasks as they are assigned by supervisors, contributing flexibly to the department’s ongoing needs and operational requirements.
• Documenting Work: Create and maintain thorough and precise documentation for all accounting work performed, ensuring clarity, auditability, and adherence to established company standards and procedures.
• Communicating Results: Clearly and effectively communicate the outcomes, progress, and any relevant findings from assigned accounting tasks to the appropriate team members or supervisors, ensuring transparent information flow.

• Background: Currently enrolled as a full-time college student actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency and required experience with Excel development spreadsheet skills, crucial for manipulating data, creating reports, and supporting various financial analyses within the accounting function.
• Bonus: A strong preference is given to students who have already commenced or successfully completed some foundational accounting courses, indicating a proactive approach to learning and a preliminary grasp of key accounting principles relevant to the role.
