What You’ll Actually Do
• Claims Information Entry: Accurately enter and verify a variety of claims information, supporting documentation, and sensitive healthcare records to ensure data integrity.
• Document Compliance Review: Diligently review claims forms and all related documents for completeness and strict compliance with established company procedures and industry standards.
• Data Confidentiality: Uphold the utmost confidentiality and security of sensitive healthcare and member information, adhering to all privacy protocols.
• Performance Standards: Consistently meet established productivity, quality, and accuracy standards set for daily workloads while efficiently managing multiple assignments.
• Technical Tool Utilization: Effectively utilize multiple internal systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, to facilitate comprehensive claims processing tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED. This role requires foundational domain knowledge derived from experience in data entry, administrative support, claims processing, or general healthcare operations.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of professional experience is required in relevant fields such as data entry, administrative support, claims processing, healthcare operations, or a related administrative capacity. Direct experience specifically within healthcare operations or claims processing is highly valued.
• Skills: Strong typing and data entry skills are essential, demonstrating a high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks. Proficiency with core Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook for communication, Word for documentation, and Excel for data management, is also required. Candidates must also exhibit the ability to work independently, prioritize diverse tasks effectively, and manage multiple assignments successfully within a remote work setting.
• Bonus: Prior experience in healthcare operations or claims processing is a preferred qualification. Familiarity with standardized data entry and typing proficiency assessments would also be advantageous for this role.
