What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support professional employees in their day-to-day assigned work.
• Research: Conduct research, studies, surveys, and investigations, compiling and analyzing relevant information and data.
• Prepare: Prepare briefs, reports, evaluations, specifications, and plans for departmental use.
• Attend: Attend divisional and departmental staff meetings, preparing reports with observations, suggestions, and comments.
• Execute: Execute sub-professional assignments in support of professional staff members.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in, or recent graduation (within one year) from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at an accredited college or university in a relevant field. A cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher is required, with proof provided at the time of application. Some positions may specifically require current enrollment in an accredited graduate school program.
• Experience: An aptitude to learn rapidly from on-the-job training and gain supervised work experience in a specific professional vocation. Knowledge of the goals and functions of the assigned profession, along with the ability to use computer hardware and software as needed.
• Skills: Ability to take direction and supervision effectively; capability to think logically and write clearly and concisely; proficiency in compiling data, performing arithmetical computations, analyzing statistical data, and preparing reports; capacity to maintain cooperative relations with co-workers and the public.
