Internship Program | LJV

The Tone:
This is an internship at LJV, located in Everett, MA. LJV Development is a solution-based construction management company with offices in Everett, Massachusetts, offering services ranging from renovation to design-build. The company uses tech-enabled processes to promote creativity and precise construction, fostering a collaborative environment for successful project execution from preconstruction to closeout. As an intern at LJV, you will be involved directly in day-to-day activities, contributing to a company dedicated to implementing cutting-edge technical improvements and solving clients’ most challenging matters. This program is designed to provide the tools and experience to develop a successful career.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Application: Apply knowledge, skills, and dispositions in various settings, including both office and field assignments, within LJV’s construction projects.
• Daily Involvement: Be directly involved in the day-to-day activities and processes across the company’s operations.
• Guided Learning: Work alongside a supervisor and team members, gaining understanding of the ins and outs of the projects LJV undertakes.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Participate in collaborative efforts to help solve clients’ most challenging issues, which may include budget planning, meeting industry standards, or overseeing multiple projects.
• Departmental Exposure: Explore different opportunities within LJV, potentially gaining insight into the Project Management Office (PMO), Business Development, or Operations functions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Teams, Excel, Microsoft Project, Outlook, and Visio.
• Skills: Possess effective oral, presentational, and written communication skills, alongside the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
