Environmental Analyst | ERG

The Tone:

As an entry-level Environmental Analyst, you will play a key part in supporting public sector clients and programs, with a primary focus on crucial clean transportation and circular economy initiatives. What You’ll Actually Do
• Communications: Develop content and materials tailored to specific target audiences.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders effectively through interviews, focus groups, and various other meeting formats.
• Event Coordination: Coordinate comprehensive logistics for both virtual and in-person events and meetings.
• Research & Reporting: Conduct thorough research, analyze relevant data, write detailed case studies and reports, and disseminate the findings.
• Grant Program Support: Assist grant programs by responding to applicant questions, reviewing applications, conducting on-site inspections, and developing outreach materials.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates should possess an entry-level academic background, specifically a Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Environmental Studies/Science, Environmental Policy, or a closely related academic field.
• Experience: This role requires 0-2 years of relevant work experience. A critical qualification includes demonstrated experience in crafting written communications for diverse audiences, such as technical experts, the general public, and industry stakeholders, across various mediums like print, web, and social media platforms.
• Skills: The successful candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team, whether collaborating in-person or virtually. Strong organizational skills are essential to efficiently balance and prioritize multiple competing deadlines. Exceptional written communication skills are also required, including the ability to clearly distill complex technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical audiences.
